Figurative Abstract Explorations 2023-Present
I create work on self-fragmentation, mental health, & the unfinished. It is these working conversations that I present my audience in hope of perspective and dialogue. Currently, my work is focused on combining the visual narrative language of the human figure with the surreal landscapes of the human mind. With a leaning emphasis on the usage of the human body as a landscape for creation through observation, I utilize the human figure along with the abstract language of surrealism to develop my work to further emote the simplicity of words or thoughts that are often ignored or pushed aside. In doing so I work to encourage the viewer to stop, reflect and experience the fragments of themselves that can be found within the work's narrative and their surroundings.
