ANXIETY RATS

A Mental Health Series

I need a little humor in my life and I hope you do too so my "Anxiety Rats" are back! I'm vending towards a dream and need your help! I am raising money for my Artist Residency in London this year.

My Anxiety Rat Series is a manifestation of Anxiety riddled thoughts as mice and rats live and run around a cavernous and surreal landscape. There is even one in my logo. They began as a fun doodle painting I made in college when I was experimenting and taking inspiration from Philip Guston's color's palaette and oil paint fresco painting technique. The series later evolved and morphed into digital drawings for inktober in 2020, and since then has lived in my thoughts and sketchbooks until now.

They are a lot of fun to make and are entirely my own and I hope to expand them into a Zine or comic in the future. In the mean time enjoy a quick painting, lino print or tote bag.
